Gully Howard Technical offer a broad range of Proficiency Modules, including the P401 – Identification Of Asbestos In Bulk Samples. This course covers both theory and practical training. P401 Aim
To provide theoretical and practical knowledge in the techniques of Asbestos sample identification using polarised light microscopy (PLM).
Prior Knowledge
It is beneficial that candidates for this course are aware of the contents of HSG 248 (Asbestos: The Analysts Guide) (available for free download online). If you have any concerns regarding this please do not hesitate to get in touch and a member of the training team will be able to assist.
